The title is a small quote from a very wise captain. It struck a chord with me so I wanted to share it with everyone. On another note, I've found I enjoy taking pictures of fire helmets. They're a firefighters fingerprint, their badge of courage. With one look you can see
what that particular Jake has been through, or at least get a good idea of how much smoke they've seen. Each dented eagle has a story behind it. Every melted shield holds a lesson within it.
